A journey to reminisce: Folioworks Pty Ltd

I don't know what exactly I want to update in my blog this morning. I was checked my colleague's blog, Merang and it tends me to write more about my summer job. After stealing some photos from his blog then I uploaded it to my photobucket. Make it save in the net.

Those photos that succesfully stole.

Moreover, I also stole one of his word which is "reminisce". So I changed the word "remember" with the word.

For the conclusion...

Every time I am reminiscing what I did last semester break, the first moment will be emerged is my casual work as a mover. When I do flashback at that moment again, I do feel like it cannot be easily to forget, a lot of memory inside it and a plenty of funny things occurred. It makes me smile and laugh sometimes.

Cheers...

The biggest loser

Besides cooking, now I have another new interest which is watching TV. I am currently being a big fan of the biggest loser and deal or no deal. I watch them regularly since I don't have any idea what I am going to do in the evening. It is much better activity rather than sleeping until the night come.

The biggest loser is actually the reality TV in Australia which is a imitation of the biggest loser in United State. Nevertheless, I am not saying that is bad thing and I even would like to propose this reality TV episode to Malaysia. I think it is better than others reality TV like Akademik Fantasia and Gang Starz which both were getting the high rate every time it broadcasting.

The biggest loser is similar to Amazing race or Survivor. For instance, in every episode it has an elimination of the contestants and the person who get the immunity will be saved. Furthermore, it includes the excite game such the food temptation. In this game, the contestants have to compete each to win the immunity. Isn't it is same like Survivor?

However, the biggest loser has it own objective. Besides of to entertain the spectators, it helps each of the competitors to lose their weight and make their dream become reality. The good thing is it also provides two trainers who always guide them in the gym and a counselor that is very useful to build up their self esteem and to keep them on the right track.

The end of the biggest loser.

I had cooked kari sotong with potatoes this afternoon. I bought the curry paste from Fresh Supermarket in Chapel St. But until this time, I still curious about my kari sotong, it was like some ingredients that I was not put into the curry.

What can I do? Give me some advise mate.

I am felt really happy because right now I was able to reduce my awkwardness while cooking in the kitchen.

As usual, below is the evidence.

Expert mover and delivery boy to cooker

As I told you yesterday, I am out of the job right now. I am free and I just like to cook. I have no talent on cooking at all. Even so, I always keep helping my mother in the kitchen while I am in Malaysia. From peeling the onion, garlic, potato to washing the dishes. Those are my routine jobs.

It is difference here, I have to cook myself otherwise I will be hunger. Believe or not today I had cooked a sambal terung and telur dadar.

Even though it was not so delicious as my mom cook, but as long as I am the one who gonna eat it so I think it is okay. At least I had something to eat this evening.

Here is the evidence.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow is my last day working in Folioworks Furniture Pty. I still could remember the first day that I am stepped in the warehouse. I was so surprised after Mr Chung asked Merang and I to start work on the spot. I can called it as a fate because I am really desperate to get a job at that time and suddenly I got it. If I am not accompanied Merang on that day, I think I will never get a job until the summer break finish. Thanks to Merang.

I got a short email from my dean last two weeks. Seriously, it such a long time that I am not sending him any update or progress on my master study. I was told to keep in touch with him before I am flying to Melbourne last year.

Salam Mazelee, Apa kabar, such a long time tak dengan berita dari u di VU? Macamana dengan master bila dijangka habis? -zaliman

In addition, I just replied to his email this morning. Actually, I am quite nervous to send my progress of my study since I am doing nothing for this summer break. Furthermore, I also feel guilty due to his thousand of help to me before.

Salam PM Zaliman, How are you going PM Zaliman, hopefully you are in good health and god blessing you. Firstly, I would like to apologize to you because of late replying to your email. I am quite busy at this moment with my casual job here, and at the same time I am doing some research for my minor project next semester. About my master study here, I am done pretty okay for the last two semester but unfortunately last semester I got one subject credit. For this semester I will take two subjects and a minor project which are: a) Analog and Mixed Signal Design b) RF and Mixed Signal Design c) Minor project: Hybrid Photon Counting Pixel Detector Herewith the attachment of my previous semester result. I hope it will be fine to you. For your information, I will finish my master on this July 2009 and insyaAllah I will back to Malaysia right after that. After two hours later, he replied back my email. I knew him as a person who very quick on replying emails or messages. He never fail to send back my email before, that why I am very proud to work under his supervision.

Salam Mazlee, Good to heard from you and I'm very please with your work and performance. I'm also glad to know that you're finish in July 2009, actually I have spoke to Prof Ali that I want you to continue your PhD straight away after your MSc in VU. In principle he agreed about that. So further that, I also ask Prof Aladin, Yufridin's supervisor, if he have got research for 2 PhD candidates from UniMAP, he yet to comeback to me soon. Mazlee, meanwhile pls ask VU how to continue your PhD overthere and discuss with Prof Aladin about this. Maknanya you balik sekejap kat M'sia lepas to terus sambung. Tanya juga sharifah husna unimap the procedure to continue study. If you have a change pls visit La Trobe Univ, then meet with Prof Jack, Husna's supervisor, to discuss about PhD in La Trobe. Keep in touch. -zaliman

I have no comment about the email above because I am yet to finish my study in master. However, I feel very happy because my former dean still help and concern about my study. I was like getting the good spirit from him and feel to very commit in the next semester.

Chaiyok Mazlee... hehe...

My mom always says "aja aja fighting" to me... She was currently watching Full House (Korean drama)

As usual, the picture of the day is taken during the St Kilda Festival on last January. It really like Aussie party and I really enjoyed to see so many hot ladies over there.

I am not working today

I am supposed to go to work today until I got a call this morning from Merang. As he mentioned to me yesterday, he has a study work to do and he will take leave for one day. Because of he is the one who can drive the manual car and at the same time Bro Epoi has to guide his relative touring around the city today, so me and Akmal agreed not to work today.

Nothing much for today, I had fried mee with a cup of coffee for my breakfast early in the morning and just hanging up in Abg Zul house. I am replacing Abg Zul, who went to Malaysia for a month as a resident manager in HighChapel apartment. You know, the important job as the resident manager is put the rubbish bin outside on Tuesday and put it in back on the next day. However, I still have to work out with the fussy tenants as they like to complaints something that they think it really annoying them. Such the roller door complained by RMIT lecturer. In this case, I don't have to fix it, myself, what I have to do is send a report to the apartment management officer then they will figure out it.

Besides that, I have to open the electricity door which had requested 24 hours earlier by the tenant for the electric or foxtel installation. I might be not take any action or entertain them if the requests are given to me below than one daytime.

I want to stop right here. I plan to go to ANZ bank to put in some money.

Don't worry, after that I still have time to update.

See you mate.

Working + eating + sleeping - studying = money

The blog writer felt something wrong happened lately in his life. He started to get confuse what exactly he really want to be here in Melbourne. He seems like to be lost and out of the right way that he aims to be achieved before he arrived here.

The new pic of the writer... haha

It is February right now. Is he still have time to working out with his study? Is he can concentrate on his study whilst he working as the delivery boy? Is he really have interested to continue his study?

Suddenly, he felt the speechless and got nothing to do. No aim, no target, no excitation at all.

He likes totally lost here.

Oh god... he kind of want to be him like previous 10 months. Please make his with come true before it getting late.
