Farewell Kak Hasnah and Beaching in St Kilda with Farhana

Actually, I should post this entry last 5 days. Kak Hasnah, who is the same staff like me in UniMAP left Melbourne last 22th December. A day before she is leaving us, we had spent time together at McDonald in Albion St. It is the only halal McDonald in Melbourne.

Imraan and I went late to the McDonald as Kak Hasnah, Kak Jess, Aliyah and Farhana waited us for more than half an hour. It was not my fault actually, It was Imraan. He was stayed here for almost 3 years, I just wondering how can he forgot the way to go Albion St. At first, I was thinking that he took the wrong way which he took the way to Sydney Rd instead of Lygon St. However, I just kept quite and did nothing as he is very expert in Melbourne better than me, of course la.

Farhana, my friend from Sydney just finished her conference at Deakin University in Geelong.

**Flashback**

Last month, I had promised Farhana to guide her browsing around Melbourne. It is my pleasure to bring her to walk around here since she is also same staff in UniMAP.

Unfortunately, I broke the promise. I can't make it because i got the delivery furniture job on the week she is coming to Melbourne. hehe.

Am I cruel?

A little bit information of Farhana, she now doing master by research in University of New South Wales near to Sydney. Her research is related to material engineering, as I heard her conversation with Dzul, she doing research on the material of valve on vehicle.

**End of flashback**

Me, Imraan, Aliyah and Farhana went to St Kilda beach afterward. It really cold there even it was summer in Melbourne. Unpredictable climate happened in here...

Kak Hasnah farewell was held in Alamaro in Sydney Rd. We had spent a nice time together and I had Fettucuni which is sound good but it was not as my expextation. I not really like that meal. hehe...

RMIT graduation photo shoot

I was very busy with my casual work as a furniture delivery boy in Moorabin. FYI, the warehouse is just 10 mins to Clayton.

So imagine how far it is from city and how long it takes to arrive at the warehouse. And the rare things that I have to do is wake up at 530 am and go to work at 600 am.

There was a photo shoot session for RMIT graduate on Sunday. As usual, I accompanied Akmal to the Storey Hall in RMIT. At there, we met Kak Hasnah and she seems like very happy, I can see on her face. It is a cheerful face not a poker face okay. haha.

To Ina, I only got some photo of Akmal with his robe and photo of me wearing the suit. Because of many of the photos is taken by Kak Hasnah's camera.

Peaceful evening in St Kilda beach

Seaside of St Kilda

Me and Akmal bought tickets for Twilight for 9.00 pm session. For the first time, we got the extreme screen tickets. We were like wondering each other what is the big difference we gonna have in extreme screen. The good thing is we no need to worry about the tickets price since we got the discount ticket bought from Uni Melbourne.

Before enjoying the Twilight, we unplanned went to St Kilda beach. Akmal brought the Twilight novel book and me just carried a packet of curry puff.

About the Twilight film, I give 3 stars over 5. The film is very good but there were some critical questions could be asked.

The funny thing here I would like to share is Akmal was dreamed the vampire versus bewolf before we watch the film. Silly kan?? hehe

What happened last 2 days

Early in the morning, I got a call from my faculty admin. The born Vietnamese admin asked me to come to the faculty for fulfill the reduce/over load study. I don't have any idea about the request. I told Akmal about this matter, with his happy face couraged me to go to Footscray since he wanted to cut his hair and do some shopping in Savers. The Savers is likes bundle shop in Malaysia, but this one is more better in term of its size and its arrangement.

We went to Footscray at 11 am and arrived there 20 mins after that. I showed Akmal the Hair Salon which Bro Nazrul always go. Then, I took a bus to Vic Uni.

You guys know, I spent like 2 hours there as in meet my coordinator, meet the faculty admin, meet the university admin. At the end, they told me you don't have to do this at all. It is just a mistake. But, I am not angry at all.

Struggling to find a job

Thanks Ina for the comment and you know how motivated I am when reading your comment. Thanks again for your concern and I am really appreciate it. Here is the report of the day.

9.00 am : Kak Timah called me early in the morning while I am still drooling... hehe. She told me that Kak Dila who owned the Charcoal Chicken in Sidney Road wanted a worker for her shop. I was so suprised because I just tell Kak Timah that I am seeking for the job during my semester break yesterday, how fast Kak Timah can get me a job. So without took longer time to get ready, I grabbed my resume from Apek's house and just straight away to Sidney road.

10.00 am : Arrived at Carcoal Chicken, Sidney road. I met Kak Dila, she was realy busy that time. So I just waited until she finished with her customers. Then, I introduced myself to her and she recognised me as Fiki's friend. Unfortunately, she can't give the job for this month because her worker just called her this morning to let her know that he cancelled his holiday for this month and changed it to the next month. So, I just gave her my resume with Apek and Imran's resume as well. She explained to me, she will call if the job really vacant next month.

11.00 am : I was running to catch the tram to go back to the city. I stopped by Apek's house to have rest there. I asked Imran to call the agent in Lilydale for the fruit picking job. The agent asked us to go Lilydale for the registeration. For the second unfortunately, I was forgot to bring my passport but I just gambled because I can remember my passport number.

2.00 pm : Departed from Melbourne central. Me, Imran, Abg Epoi, Kak Uji and Apek were really motivated to go to Lilydale. We bought the daily ticket for zone 1 plus zone 2, it cost us for AUD10.10.

3.00 pm : Arrived at Lilydale train station. I called Qilah, the person who already settled her registration with the agent to ask her about the direction to the agent office.

3.30 pm : Arrived at Sarina Russo Harvest Agency, they welcomed us nicely. We filled the from given. After that, we had fish and chip at the shop which is near to the train station.

The evidences that we had registered in Sarina Russo Agency

4.00 pm : Went back to city and lepak at Habor town with Fiki and Imran.

Desperado

I am really desperate to find a job here. I am also desperate to find someone that can replace me in Lazzat. I guess I can escape to pay for rent of Jan and Feb next year but it really works if I can get the replacement. I hope my prospect, Umar Haiyat will consider my offer very well.

As the last night discussion with Imran, this morning we have planned to go to Lilydale for seeking fruit picking job in Lilydale which is about 40 km from city and will be took 1 hour to reach there.

I am really desperate... help me.. I want a job...

Eidul Adha in Melbourne

I think I am the only one who really kind of excited to celebrate Eidul Adha in here. Last night, I had a takbir raya alone while my roommate, Akmal spent his spent watching anime. I opened takbir raya featuring Mawi from youtube and repeteated it many times. I was really enjoy spent my time for takbir raya since I think I was too busy with my work last month so it is time to pay back to the God.

Same as in Eidul Fitri celebration last 2 month, for Eidul Adha celebration I cannot except myself to wake up early in the morning. Actually, I was slept back after Subuh pray and woke u again at 7.15 am. After cleaning myself, I wear my Baju Melayu with the samping of course.

I still remember my father asked me to change my clothes because at that time I just wearing Baju Melayu with the slack only. I was not clear why he asked me to do that, maybe he wanted me to be smart same like him. Therefore, started from that time I will wearing the complete of Baju Melayu for Eidul Fitri and Eidul Adha celebration. Actually, I am so respect to my father and he is my idol. I love you, ayah. You guys know, I never say that I love my father directly even to my mum but I think they know that I am really love them. Sayu le pulek... hehe

I went to Malaysia Hall to peform Solat Sunat Raya. As I thought, there will not many peoples since almost of the students were came back to Malaysia for holiday. But still I can feel the spirit of the celebration. Ustaz Haznizul was the Imam and gave the good speech which is related to the current issues in Malaysia. One parts of his speech is encourage Malaysia citizen especially Muslim to be more strengthen in their relationship and do not follow the bad influence from none Muslim.

After finished eating the nasi putih with lamb rendang, chicken curry, salads and variety of kuih, we had some photography session. This is for the evidence that I was not ponteng the solat sunat raya.. hehe.... LOL

In front of Malaysia Hall, Melbourne

Me and Akmal went to Global Village to visit Kak Hasnah and Kak Jijah (not the real name). They served us with the delicous mee curry. Because of the very tasteful of that mee curry, I asked them to tapau for us. After that, we went back to Lazzat and guess what both of us had a really good time for our relaxation. Ape lagi tido la.. hehe

That all for the report today mate.

My new shoes, Circa

I forgot to tell that I just bought a new shoes since my Etnies no longer in a good condition. I bought it for only AUD $40 from Evolution shop in DFO, Spencer St and I think it was the cheapest skate shoes that can I get here. you cannot find as that price for Circa at any skateboard shop in Melbourne even though the skateboard shop in Smith St. Actually, I was eager to wear this brand of shoes since I started to skate about 5 years ago. And finally, I managed to wear it. Should I wear it tomorrow? Pakai sudey... LOL

My Circa is ready for the 180 flip... hehe

Before that, me and Akmal went to Camberwell. We stayed there until all the booth is closed. Nothing much for me, I just bought the kacket for my girlfriend. hehe...

Takbir raya

Tomorrow is a big for all Muslim throughout the world. We will celebrating Eidul Adha which is also called as Qurban day. The Muslim who have get ready in term of physical, mental and financial are encouraged to do Hajj at Mecca. Besides that, the Muslim also are encouraged to sacrifice or qurban the goat or cow and giving it to the poor people around their place. It is not compulsory but it depends on thier afforadable.

I will be going to Malaysia Hall tomorrow to perform Solat Eidul Adha. That the only place that I can feel the spirit of the Eidul Adha.

Allahu akbar Allahu akbar Allahu akbar...
Lailaha illallah huwallahu akbar...
Allahu akbar walillah ilham...

I have to iron my baju melayu before I sleep tonite and hopefully I will wake up early tomorrow.

Spending my time in Vic Uni

Today is Friday, usually in this day I will not going anywhere since I have to performe pray for Jumaah. However, I am going to Footscray Park to meet my supervisor, David Fitrio who just received his PHD in Vic Uni. He right now doing 2 jobs at the same time, he is the research lecturer in Vic Uni and he is also lecturer in Monash Uni. He spending only 1 day in Vic Uni since the Microelectronic coordinator still needs his help to running the school for the next semester.
Luckily, I can still working under him thus make my incoming minor project easily. Since David came from Indonesia so sometimes we are communicate in Bahasa Indonesia for me to better understand. what exactly he want to explain.

Just now, David and I have a short discussion because he is busy for checking the project of my friends, Sandeep, Madhu and Sudheer. All of them are from Indian. Maybe before this, I never been told you guys abot my friends in Vic Uni. For your information, I don't have many international friend here. It is only about 10 friends that I had here. Last semester, I had friend from Turkey, his name is Burcin and now he already in Turkey, I think he now working as an enigneer in his hometown. I also had a friend from Philiphine but we just have a short conversation only since he always absent to the class. LOL. And the rest of my friends are came from India, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Maybe after this, I will put their photo together with me.

Back to my supervisor, David. I asked him about my plan to further my study in PHD level. Suprising me, he asked me to do the study under of his supervision in Monash University. He told me tht he can find me a first supervisor since he only can be the second supervisor, it maybe because of his experience or level. I said, I will consider it since I have to make a step further to apply the PHD. I will discuss with my dean about my plan to study in Monash University. However, it depends on my dean actually to let me directly further or I have to wait for the vacancy.

After the pray for Jumaah, I have to meet David for discussing my minor project for the next semester. Initially, I have do nothing for this summer and that why I mailed David, if he can give me project title so I can work for it during this break. And just now, he told me that I can continue what I was doing in last semester project. So it is easily to me because I have done it before so I don't have to start a new project from the beginning. However, the project might be slightly difference to the last semester's project. It should be more tough I think so. And I told him my plan to do some paper publication in the next semester fotunately he agreed with that and happy to help me to publish paper at least a review paper.

Ok mate. I have to go now. It close to 130 pm in here. I have to get ready for pray.

Oh god, please forgive what ever I am doing wrong to you... forgive me please...

Coldplay live in Melbourne

Oh gosh, I never been dreaming to see Coldplay live before. Though I am not a die hard fan of Coldplay, but to see them live in Melbourne will be apart of my great memory ever.

Coldplay at the Beacon Theater in New York City on May 17, 2005.

My friends, Imran just bought the ticket for four by online. Guess what, the tickets only available for the 3rd day of concert and 1st and 2nd day is definitely sold out even just today the ticket is open for sale. Luckily, we got the gold seat tickets and it would be not too far from the main stage for sure.

Now, I am started to download Coldplay album to refresh back their song. hehe. But, I still remember their song in 1st and 2nd album which is Yellow, Clocks, Shiver, Politic and The Scientist.

However, I have a money problem now. Because the price of the ticket was quite expensive which is AUD 142.00. I kind of regret for agreeing to join Imran to the concert. But what can I do here, the ticket was already purchased. Want it or not, I have to pay it to Imran as soon as possible.

Should I go or ask somebody else that can be replaced me?

How is it mate?

No matter what, I still downloading the Coldplay album right now.

Cheers mate...

The day after Sunday

Last night, me and Akmal went to Zul Singapore place to have BBQ farewell party. Zul and Haadi will be going back for good this month. Especially Haadi because he now preparing for his engagement day expected on this month as well. Congratulation bro, unfortunatelly I cannot attend your engagement day. And Zul look like feeling sad as he will leaving his "girlfriend" here. I put girlfriend word in the column because I don't know how serious his relationship with that girl. To Zul, if you feel like her just let her know ok. Sebelum dikebas orang. hehe.

Me and Akmal helped grilling the chicken wings and hot dog. The guests came to the party were almost like 20 peoples. I was really enjoyed grilling as I am like to be person di belakang tabir. hehe. Actually, I felt amazed when first time step in that BBQ area, it was really proper place for student to relax especially in the weekend. The place completed with a big screen projector, ping pong table, pool table, kitchen, toilet and a few set of sofas. I feel the real of student life when being there. Seriously...

I was sleeping early last night, maybe a bit tired because of non stop grillling the chickens. And of course I woke early in the morning. We have to wake up Zul since he still sleep (tgk bola semalam kot) just to let he knows that we want to go back to city.

We stopped by Abang Zairi and Kak Ina place for visiting them as it been awhile that we are not meet them. Thanks for Kak Ina for serving us super yummy fried noodle and bubur kacang. We went back after been about 3 hours there.

Tonite picture is me and the big VU word. It taken during the Victoria University open day.

Have a good sleep mates...

Unproductive Sunday

Nothing much happen today. I just wasted my time in my bedroom by watching CD. Fortunately, Ina gave me a bundle of CD, at least there are some entertainment for me when I'm realy bored. I planned to go to Camberwell today but it too late to reach there since Akmal and I was not ready yet to go out.

I just texting Ina just now, she's in Damansara. It sounds that she really enjoy being in Malaysia. While, I'm still here nothing to do in this summer break.

This night, I will attend the BBQ organised by Zul and Haadi in Clayton. Before that I have to buy some drinks and breads that requested by Haadi. Hopefully, I will not forgotten to bring it there.

Now, I'm listening the Kate Perry song called "hot and cold". I'm kind of obsess to this song since Akmal keep repeated it on his laptop. What else I should write here...

Owh, my result will be available on tomorrow. I feel like very nervous to reveal my result. Please pray for me mates. Hopefully, I will get the better result than previous semester. Actually, it is crucial for me as it is being my token to further study for my PHD. Do I ready for it? hehe. I don't know. Just wait and see how I will working with it. InsyaAllah, The Mighty will be definitely help me to figure out this matter. Amin...

Picture of the day? I think I should put some pictures in every entry. So for today pictures will be definitely picture of mine, who else kan...

An evening in Southern Star, Dockland

I was still sleeping when M called me early in the morning. He asked me and Akmal to go to Smith St. for have shopping there. I just agreed with him since we don't have any plan to go today (not like the previous weekend Bro Nazrul or Ina will ask us to go somewhere but not this weekend and after, no one will care about us... isk isk...). We met after had lunch in Lazzat and walked through the Royal Exhibition Building (REB) just behind our place. We were so lucky because the bus just came on time we arrived there. We had took the bus since there was no tram service to the Smith St. I don't know what it is exactly reason for no tram service to there. The bus was very crowded with peoples and we had to stand until we were reached at stop number 20. It was my first time to see so many peoples all around the Smith St (maybe they do shopping for the Christmas Eve just around the corner). Initially, along this street there are many of boutique such as Adidas, Nike, New Balance, Timberland, Rip Curl, DCshoecousa, Essential Man and many more. Some of peoples here called this place as factory outlet. One of unbelievable thing for me was there are long queue of peoples to enter the Nike outlet. M have been taken the photos of the long queue, I will get the photo from him and maybe show to you guys later. I am not sure why they willing to queue up there even it was a long line. We decided not to join them otherwise it will wasted our time there. I just bought a pair of sock, it was New Balance and it just AUD 2.50. Akmal became the man of the day, he seems like enjoyed shopping there and bought tshirt and handbag of Roxy. Meanwhile, M just went back with nothing. We took a taxi, me and Akmal just don't worry it because M who volunteer to pay for the taxi.

Then, me and Akmal took a rest for awhile to have pray. Afterward, I asked Akmal to go to Southern Star because as far as my concern it was an event held at there. So without took much time, we took a tram to reach there. As Akmal said the event will be no longer be held as in the time was at 6.00 pm at that time, its true everything was finish already we arrived there. Therefore, we just went around there and browsed some shops like Sinatra and Australia Sourvenir Merchandise. We bought some fridge magnets and nail clipper. It was like 3 weeks I am not cut my nail. So Ina, don't worry I will cut it after this. After shopping, we took some photos there. Me and Akmal keep rotated as photographer and model there. I just want to show here my photos to make Bro Nazrul and Ina jelous what we are doing here. Tu la sape suruh balik Malaysia awal sgt. hehe.

In front of ice cream shop but we don't had it

Background of Southern Star

In front of the the fish and chip restaurant that M really want to go there

Me and keep posing

Me jumping even it was many peoples around there, no ashame at all...

Christmas tree?? I think so...

From Dockland, i can see Southern Star. hehe

In the Waterfront city, Dockland

I don't know there was a tramboat in Melbourne... huh?

Bile la nak naik ni... do I have to wait Bro Nazrul and Ina?? hehe...

Alone in Friday

I am still here in Melbourne even two of my good friends, Ina stress and Bro Nazrul are departed this morning for having holiday in Malaysia. Actually, I don't have major plan to do in this summer break. But what I was intended to do in this break is to find a part time job otherwise my holiday will be wasted.

Yesterday is last day for KITA gang being together. If you guys read my last entries maybe you guys found that I had explaining about the gang. At this moment, just me and Akmal left here and as I mentioned above, Ina and Nazrul were in their way back to Malaysia. We are perfect when we are together and we are complement each others.

We had about 6 months being together and yesterday we were just ended our episode of journey in Melbourne together. We went to Max Brenner after Akmal agreed to treat us. We had Toffee Milk Chocolate Frappe, Tutti Fruitti Waffle, Strawberry Float and Soufli. Nopol or M, our Thailand friend join us as well. We had a plenty time together in the Max Brenner and after that we took some photos before had dinner in Effy's house in Global Village.

Seriously, at this time me and Akmal like "bergantung tak bertali". We are nothing to do and no one will ask us to go out today. So pity of us.

This is what I called KITA gang

Sekolah Izzuddin Shah: my old school

If you guys did clicked to the Nama (not a real name) link at the blog that I used to read column. Maybe You guys will be found that my name in it. Actually, he was one of my good friends my old school in Sekolah Izzuddin Shah, Ipoh. I don't know whether you guys recognize about this school or not. But, I am really proud about to be Izzuddinian. Even, I was the second batch from the 1995 acceptance but the knowledge and memory that I got there, and being apart of the school give me such a plesure.

Actually, I'm not deserved to get in to the school because I'd only got B for Islamic study and A for Mathematic and Science. And the school only accept the candidates who got 2A's. After I'm really talked seriously with my parent about that school. Then, they tried hard to take me get in any how the way is. Luckily, at that time my grandpa had a friend there and because of he really wanted me to school there then he sent sort of persuade letter. So started from that time, I was get involved in sort of cronism ideology. Do you think I'm into it?

One story that I will never forget is when I was in form one in Ibnu Sina class. For your information, I was not good in reading quran and I even not finished my quran reading yet. So to make the story, one day my quran reading teacher ask to the class "who still do not finish his reading of quran, please hands up". You guys know, with very confident I was put my hands up because I thought there will be more student will do so like me. I was feel humiliated at that time. I don't know how to show my face to the teacher and to my friends. After that moment, I'm always be the last person who will examined by my teacher because my reading was the slowest and the worst in the class. hehe. But nowadays, my reading getting more more better. Good huh?

I will story you guys more about my past time in couple of days. Because of that, I have to refresh back my memory. In fact, I'm bad in remembering.

Need to get off from my bed to have shower.

Its 1.04 pm already in Melbourne.

I grabbed this below picture from Amin Al-Haadi, friend of mine. Look at me, look like Sixth Sense vox right?? hehe..

Anynomous title

Since I was busy with my study and project a month ago,I feel like very unmotivated to continue blogging anymore. And I found out my blog is purposely to share what I have been doing here rather than discussing anything some can be beneficial to you guys. So what can I do is maybe sometimes I can attach something more information about Aussie to you guys.

I just finish my last exam yesterday, it was practical exam for Digital Signal System. How is it? Not bad la. As long as I can write the code and get the correct output for question 1 and 2, only for question number 3, I cannot get the output, I don't know I think my code is perfect but since the output is not appear as expected that means I failed in that question. However, I still can get the good mark (I think so as I asked the tutor about my mark) though I cannot answer the 3rd question very well. I still can remember of my mom advices after I "failed" to get the good result in SPM last 9 years, "You're not fail Mazlee, don't think if you're fail (not getting the good result) you will be fail forever". Thanks ibu, its really meant to me. I will use your words as I am alive.

I still have another 2 projects to be submitted this Monday. And as before, I yet start both of the project report. Its kinda last minute job. The crucial part is I have to understand every part that I'll include inside my report as there are presentation and QA session as well. The marks will be given based on my understanding about the project. So I decided to choose the easiest title and I am familiar with.

Ok mate, will be continue this night... Before that, I am happy to let you know today it will be MYER christmast parade in Bourke St. I will not miss it. Let go mate...

Good day mate...

I would say HE is the greatest man in the world

Hi mates,

Both of my right and left hand was sweating from the beginning he put his first pace into Sidney MYER Centre hall until he finish his great ever speech. As my first time ever being face to face to him, concentrate to look at him and honestly it kind of interrupt me to remember every words from his mouth. I really obsess to him since I was a kid.

I have been put a sort of my target to be next to him during my childhood. I really don't care what ever people want to describe me about and its kind some spirit that I can't prevent it to speed up my heart beating.

The person who I was described as HE above is TUN DR MAHATHIR MOHAMAD.

When Mazlee Mazalan real in flesh blood meeting with tun dr Mahathir Mohamad

When two of double M are smiling together.

Stay up until Subuh

Actually, I had slept early around 9.30 pm but since I have to report my duty everyday so I have to wake up around 1.00 am. Thank god my girl friend is in the good mood this week.

Afterward, I planned to do revision on Advanced Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) but it was ended up with watching Sutun drama through malaysian-tvseries.blogspot. This website was recommended by Bro Nazrul and until today I was like addicted to Malay drama. Besides Sutun, I also looking into Tain 3T (Tain Turun Town). I don't want to explain both of the drama, why not you guys just click the website that I have mentioned above. You guys can watch the same kind of drama from tv3.com.my as well.

While watching the drama, suddenly I was thinking about my exam. This week is in week 10 already and the exam in both RMIT Uni and VU Uni will be started in week 13. I took a piece of paper and pen to write the exam timetable. I was like frustrating when I found that I had a clash exam between subject in RMIT Uni and VU Uni. But since it is just practical exam in VU Uni, I think I could ask my lecturer to change the exam date but not on 11 November because I have another RMIT Uni subject on that day. I have been email to David just now, wish him can help me.

I am still working with my project. I have to compete with undergraduate student because they doing the same project as well. As a postgraduate student, I think my lecturer must have high expectation to me. I try to do the best even I got stuck when my operational amplifier design using too large size of transistor. The SIX days fast in month of Syawal

How are you going mate,

Today, I am gonna to share something about the 6 days fast in Syawal. Do you have start the 6 days fasting yet? I had start it last 3 days, alhamdulillah. It is not like to act to everyone that I am so religious like my Iran my friend, Shahab told me in the lab last Tuesday.

I was the one start the conversation "Shahab, hows your Eid celebration?"
He replies "Sorry, can't catch your word"
I repeat it again "About your Eidul Fitri celebration"
Then he understand and say "Ohh, you mean Eid Fitr? Yeah, mine is great"
And he asks me "Are you had fasting for the whole month of Ramadhan?"
Spontaneously I reply "Yeah, we should to... How about you?"
He just smiles to me.
To share something with him, I further say "Even today I am fasting for the 6 days in month of Syawal, do you know about it?"
He replies "Yeah, I knew it. You are so religious"
I just reply "I don't know but I like to do it"

I am not so religious but I am toward it, insyaAllah.

Do you what is the benefit if we are practising the 6 days fast in month of Syawal? I guarantee everyone of you knew it. Even though, let us refresh the beneficial of it.

The benefit of fasting 6 days in Syawal is like we are fasting for the whole year or 365 days. Therefore, if we are sincere when practising it insyaAllah The Merciful will give you the super duper big rewards.

Can't wait to finish it. Then gonna have second Eid Fitri celebration for me.

Oh Allah, please forgive me whatever I had done wrong before.

Have to ready for my Physics class at 10.30 am.

Maybe go to Footscray Park today, have to ask something about my project to Anand.

Hope today is better than yesterday...

Raya in Melbourne vs Raya in Malaysia

Hi guys,

How are you?

It is 7 Syawal today, I am unconscious that we have been celebrating Eid for a week. Honestly, I had spent almost 24 hours of my day for the Eid. After I read Ina blog yesterday what can I conclude is I have lack of will. Even I always involved in misunderstanding circumstance with my girl friend (Sorry, I never tell ya before about my girl) because of that lack. I am very expert in planning but I cannot manage the plan very well. Sometimes but supposed to be almost the time, we as a human being have to admit that The Mighty is very fair. We can't questioned why the plan cannot achieved it goal at the end of the day.

I can't remember which verse in Quran which The Mighty said, the fate will be not changed until we make a move to change it ourselves.

I have too many work to be finished before week 13. Now, it is in week 10. And I still here and doing nothing at all. But please don't judge me as an unmotivated person. I even can do better work than others (I think so... hehe) but it will come out if I am really want it (in my really good mood actually).

I don't like to show people what I have done, I want the people realized themselves about my existence. I was like an anynomous person which if you really knowing depth inside of me, you will know what is the best in me.

Back to our topic

I was complained to Ina last 2d Syawal, it was about I don't have lemang, rendang and ketupat to be ate even it was in second day of Eid celebration. And I was further complaint, if I am in Malaysia I will have a lot of lemang and rendang for my breakfast.

She explained, of course la you cannot got all of that things because you are in oversea. This is what we called "raya" in oversea. I understand what she said and I admit it. You are right, Ina.

As I told you all before, this is my first time celebrate the Eid without my family and of course it is my first time celebrate with my friends. I have not many friends here maybe because of my "keep quite habit".

FYI, I was attended so many open houses here and I can't get this number of open house while in Malaysia perhaps. I am kin to list out the open house that I was serbu for last 7 days.

  1. Kak Uji and Abg Epoi house in Colours Apartments on Swanston st.
  2. Bro Nazrul place on Queensberry st.
  3. Kak Jess, Kak Hasnah and Effy house in Global Village, Unilodge on Lonsdale st.
  4. Ina place in Unilodge @ Melbourne.
  5. Kak Zura house on Albion st.
  6. Anak Dato' Khir Toyo in Blue Tower Penthouse on Russel st (even I don't know them well).
  7. Abg Munir and Kak Ros house in Broadmeadows (it took an hour to arrive there).
  8. Najmi, Husna and Izzah house in Bundoora (they got a realy nice house and the food was good)
  9. En. Fuad house in Thornbury (we were running to catch the train at Coxton Train Station on the way back).
  10. Dalila and Ida house in Coburg (it easy to find their house since it located near to Coburg Tram last stop).
  11. Kak Ina and Abg Zairi house in Clayton on Wellington Rd.
Cool huh? I can still remember it all.

Still in Eidul Fitri mood

Hows your Eidul Fitri celebration mate?

I feel very lucky even though I am in Melbourne but I still can have open house since 1St Syawal until this weekend. Thanks to those who had organized and invited me their open house. Really feel happy, at least I still can feel the mood of 'raya' here.

As I told you at my previous post, I was woke up early on 1st Syawal and managed to complete my 2nd brother request for 'raya' video. Right afterward, I took a shower and ironed my 'baju melayu'. It was slightly cold outside but Akmal and I refused to wear a sweater. We met Ina at Queensberry St and without Bro Nazrul (he got crucial class that morning), we headed to Malaysia Hall in Prahran by Glen Iris tram. We liked very proud wearing our traditional costumes. We were not forgot to snap some pictures during the journey to Malaysia Hall.

Fortunately, we reached at there just in time. We prayed EidulFitri solah and listened to the 'khutbah' by Ustaz Haznizul. But I can't focus to the speech because I am thinking about my family in Malaysia, how they are celebrating this Eid without me. I was liked feel homesick at the moment.

We had 'nasi briyani' with 'sambal ayam', beef rendang from lazzat, some cookies and many more. We were really enjoyed the meals and the photograph session as well.
